G-Star, the leading international denim brand, is introducing a revamped store concept that will be rolled out worldwide. G-Star deliberately chose Ghent for this premiere, a city with a strong G-Star community and the perfect stage for innovation and experience.
Imagebuilders is proud to be a permanent partner in making this vision a reality. With years of retail expertise, in-depth knowledge of high-quality materials, and a proven ability to realize concepts that are reproducible and internationally applicable, we ensure a seamless translation from design to execution.
The concept is a modern canvas for premium denim, inspired by the G-Star headquarters in Amsterdam. Industrial materials such as concrete and brushed aluminum are combined with sustainable finishes made from recycled paper and striking green accents. Digital screens and dynamic displays bring denim to life and create a contemporary shopping experience.
A distinctive building as a basis
The first store with this new concept is located in a historic corner building in Ghent. The building, with its high arches, large windows, and original architectural details, provided a powerful starting point for the design. The historic façade contrasts deliberately with the industrial and minimalist interior, creating a unique blend of heritage and modern retail design.
