For its European expansion, Levi's was looking for a more efficient way to deliver, without the risks of overproduction and high inventory costs. Previous experiences with inventory losses and tight deadlines made it clear that traditional inventory management was no longer sufficient. There was a need for an efficient and cost-effective supply chain that enabled rapid change, kept costs manageable, and offered delivery reliability without compromising on quality or brand consistency.
The challenge: opening stores according to plan, without inventory risks or surpluses, within a tight budget, without compromising on quality or brand experience.
Together with Levi's, Imagebuilders developed a Just-In-Time production model in which each store project is produced without standard stock. By working closely with manufacturers in Eastern Europe and efficiently organizing our supply chain, transport and storage costs are minimized.
This ongoing project is characterized by a combination of smart project management and a solid supplier network. Thanks to clear and direct communication, central control, and a clear process, the European rollout of Levi's stores is still proceeding strictly according to plan. Each store is furnished with attention to brand consistency and quality, without delays or logistical obstacles.
