Kuo Studio, a specialist in learning environments and educational design, was looking for a reliable partner to create a new learning plaza at Northgo College in Noordwijk.
Kuo Studio strives to turn every space into a real “Place to Be.” For Northgo College, this meant an inspiring and flexible learning environment that supports both independent work and group activities. The space had to encourage collaboration, concentration, and tranquility with a well-thought-out layout and the use of sustainable materials.
In co-creation with Kuo Studio, we developed a contemporary and functional interior concept. The use of sustainable materials, multifunctional furniture, and integrated acoustic elements created a learning environment that is both practical and aesthetically pleasing.
The implementation was fully aligned with the school schedule and took place during the summer holidays, so that there was no need to interrupt the curriculum.

The new learning environment is now being used intensively by both students and teachers. The learning plaza invites learning, collaboration, and relaxation.
