The Champs-Élysées in Paris is more than just a shopping street. It is a global stage for brands that want to show what they stand for. A place where appearance, detail, and brand experience come together to perfection. When Levi’s decided to open a new flagship store here, they knew that the interior had to be more than just a beautiful shop design.

The design had to make their iconic brand DNA tangible, fit in with the prestigious streetscape of the Champs-Élysées, and be technically and logistically feasible within a particularly tight timeframe. Levi's was looking for a partner who truly understood the brand and could contribute ideas from the very first concept. Someone who not only builds what is asked for, but helps shape what it should become.

For Imagebuilders, this was a unique opportunity: a project that required creativity, technical precision, and international coordination. A project in which we were able to apply our craftsmanship at the highest level, in a city where every detail counts.

Our approach

From the outset, we worked alongside the Levi's team, not only as the executing party, but also as a sparring partner in design, technical development, and planning. Thanks to our experience with flagship formats and our knowledge of international retail, we were able to provide substantive advice on feasibility, construction, and use of materials early on in the process.

Engineering took place entirely in-house, allowing us to respond quickly to design changes and technical challenges. For production, we worked with a combination of external specialist partners and internal production capacity. Iconic elements, with high visibility in the store, were manufactured in our own workshop to maintain maximum control over finish and quality.

The biggest challenge? The turnaround time. At a location where every day counts, all the parts had to come together at exactly the right moment. With a tightly controlled logistics process, intensive coordination between engineering, purchasing, and project management, and clear and direct communication with all parties involved, we delivered right on time.
