The contractor for the beautiful voco The Hague by IHG hotel was looking for a reliable interior design partner to contribute ideas to the design of the new hotel rooms. Important requirements were high quality, logistical control, competitive prices, and a partner with experience in international production. The project required flexibility in planning, a strong network, and the capacity to quickly test prototypes and put them into production. Without compromising on finish or design.
Imagebuilders was involved in the design phase and, in collaboration with the contractor, set up the entire production process for the hotel rooms. In the engineering phase, we developed prototypes in the Netherlands, which were used to test and refine the design choices. We then translated these into working drawings together with our team in China and supervised the entire production locally, maintaining the high quality that Imagebuilders is known for. By making smart use of our international network, we achieved cost-efficient production without compromising on quality.
Thanks to our close collaboration with the contractor, tight control of logistics and planning, and our experience with hospitality interiors, we delivered and installed the rooms on schedule and within budget. The result exceeded the client's expectations.
